Have you ever wondered, “How can we serve English Language Learners in our community and help them understand the Gospel?” Honestly, since Jesus Christ has blessed us in so many ways, we want our friends and neighbors to know the joy, peace, and freedom we’ve come to know! We also want to be respectful, avoiding any sense of a “bait and switch;” when they register for our English classes, they likely are not intending to sign up for a ‘Bible study’. They want authentic opportunities to improve their English language skills, discuss interesting topics, and build community. God’s love compels us to love them too, so how can we be more intentional in beginning conversations about Jesus with English Language Learners?
“Eyes to See, Ears to Hear” Conversational English Curriculum
“Eyes to See, Ears to Hear” Conversational English Curriculum is a teacher-friendly, student-engaging, faith-based course for English language learners. Based on a film about the life of Jesus, the curriculum offers a multi-skills approach for multi-level classes of Advanced Beginners and higher levels.
Training for faith-based TESOL teachers
