Here’s a tool that can help you begin conversations about Jesus with English Language Learners.
The Eyes to See, Ears to Hear Conversational English Curriculum
is a faith-based program which can be used to begin spiritual conversations with English Language Learners. Targeted for multilevel classes of Advanced Beginners and higher levels, each unit revolves around a 5-minute segment of The Story of Jesus through the Eyes of Children®, a film based on the Gospel of Luke. The teacher’s guide was written for those new to teaching English, and is also a helpful tool for more experienced instructors.

materials. Our ESL Bible classes center on Bible content. Eyes to see, Ears to Hear centered on ESL but is based on the Jesus film. It covers a variety of learning styles so all students feel welcome and engage with the material.
